My first task is to list down the activities that tourist can participate in Cameron highlands. Images are also included.
Jungle Trekking
There are plenty of jungle treks of varying difficulty and duration to satisfy nature lovers. Most of the trails are located around Tanah Rata. All these trails leads to the waterfalls and the mountains. Some tracks are ideal an evening stroll while others are tough and requires a good fitness level.
Camping
Camping is popular with the youth groups or university students who would hike up and spend the night on the lesser known mountains along the main range. These trips are not for the weak.
Hiking
If you're fit and love nature, a trip to the mountains should be on the agenda. The peaks offer magnificent views of the highlands.
Reforestation
The reforestation project was initiated by R.E.A.C.H. in partnership with the Department of Forestry. The reforestation site is located in the Main Range of Peninsular Malaysia with its main forest cover being montane forest. The area is approximately 15 acres near Gunung Brinchang, which is part of the Ulu Bertam Forest Reserve and Stateland forest, was identified for this pilot reforestation project.

Tea is the reason why an expert from the British government, William Cameron has founded and the potential of this valley, which eventually became Malaysia, holiday destination and senior Cameron Highlands was named after him.
